This one does not test your language — it establishes who you are as a learner: your background, motivation, goals, confidence, anxiety, habits, teaching preferences and interests.
On its own it produces a genuine profile. Taken alongside the proficiency diagnostic it produces something considerably more useful: the gap between what you believe about your ability and what you can demonstrate.
Before you begin
There are no right answers here, and nothing is being marked. The profile is only as useful as your answers are honest — particularly in the sections about confidence and study habits, where the temptation to answer aspirationally is strongest.
It takes about twenty minutes. Your answers save as you go, so you can stop and come back. Answer quickly rather than carefully: your first response is usually the accurate one.
